Alex Unis

Alex grew up just outside Detroit in Canton, MI and served in youth ministry for 10 years before coming on staff at Park Hills and making Freeport his home in 2019. He and his wife, Nerissa, were married in 2012 and have five boys: Ezra, Miles, Micaiah, Torin and Quinn. Alex graduated from Cedarville University in 2008 with a degree in Bible and followed that up with an M.Div from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2012. In ministry, Alex loves building community and disciple-making. He also enjoys developing leaders for discipleship and outreach. He loves the emphasis Park Hills places on discipleship, life groups, and multiplication. In his free time, Alex enjoys sports (mostly baseball and Rugby Union), woodworking, and being with his family.
