Dale Kaney

Dale grew up on a farm outside Freeport. He made a public profession of his faith in Christ during his early teen years. He graduated from Forreston High School and Highland Community College. Dale felt God leading him to a career in serving others and he completed college and Optometry school and returned to Freeport to begin his career of 43 years. In 1976 he married his wife, Sue, at Park Hills. Through the years he has served on the Elder Board, music ministry, and children’s ministry. His passion for missions has resulted in many trips to Honduras to provide eye care, eyeglasses, and outreach evangelism to many people. He is blessed that his three children were all able to experience spiritual growth and discipleship under the guidance of Park Hills youth pastors. He retired in 2020 and is praising God for the blessings that Park Hills has given to his family and the Freeport area.
